Gite L'anarcadier

We had quiet meals on the terrace of the hut, and Anta shared her excellent cooking with us. The place is peaceful and well located. Dominique welcomed us with lots of energy and was very helpful. Each hut has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen.

We had a superb five-night stay. The staff were warm and helpful, especially Papis Ndeye Abdou, and Jean was charming and attentive. He told us about Villa Pastèque, where live bands play on the terrace. Thanks to everyone, and especially Dominique. We plan to come back soon for a weekend. One small idea: it would be nice to have mosquito repellent available for guests eating on the beautiful terrace.

For a great stay in Senegal, the Anacardier is hard to beat. The setting feels almost natural and is peaceful, the huts are comfortable, and the service is good. Dominique and Jean-Michel are always friendly and attentive. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

We came here to get away from the bustle of Dakar for a few days, and the guesthouse gave us the peace and quiet we wanted. The five comfortable bungalows sit among lush greenery around the pool, with plenty of privacy. We loved the pool because it's chlorinated, and never got tired of it. La Somone and Saly are nearby, with plenty to do around the area, and the beach is only a two-minute walk away. Dominique can suggest some great excursions, and the Sine Saloum is a must-see. The welcome was very warm, and we had a wonderful stay. Thanks to Dominique, Jean-Michel and the team for their hospitality, and a special mention to Mbassine for her delicious meals ;-)
