La Paillote Village Hotel

After traveling a long way from Kafountine with our 2-year-old daughter, we just wanted to get her something to eat. At the restaurant, a staff member said we could order at the beachfront, but there wasn't much available there. My wife and daughter then went back to the restaurant and sat down to order. A staff member said they couldn't sit at that table in case our daughter made it dirty, since they “couldn't change the tablecloth.” The table wasn't even reserved. We were paying 160 euros a day, not staying for free. At check-in, no one told us the breakfast hours or gave us the Wi-Fi password after we completed the registration form. The service felt unwelcoming from the start. When we brought up the table incident with the owner, she dismissed us, shouted about how long they'd been in business, and said we could leave if we wanted. That attitude was disgraceful. We left and found a much better place where we were treated with respect. We booked a few nights at La Paillote, but won't go back. We don't deserve to be treated this way as paying guests.
