We felt safe and secure, and the property has lovely, peaceful sitting areas around an attractive pool, with steps down to the beach. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Rooms were average but quite nice, with a good shower and hot water. When someone in our group had a room problem, it was fixed quickly. The restaurant food was good, though service could be slow. There are several other restaurant choices nearby.

I spent a week here and found it one of the best hotels in Somone. It’s a beautiful, green setting with a lovely beach and a pool, a great place to relax.

I return to this family owned hotel every January, and it’s such a lovely place to rest and unwind. It’s right on the beach, with a beautiful pool and great service from a steady, dedicated staff. The rooms are clean and fresh, and there are different options depending on what you need, including some with little kitchenettes. The restaurant menu has plenty of variety and goes well beyond what you usually find at beachside restaurants in the region. I highly recommend Le Phenix. It’s a joy to stay there.

I'm reviewing the restaurant here. The food was good, and service was quick and friendly. At low tide, you can swim straight from the terrace. They also have a few Asian dishes on the menu, which is a bit unusual and worth a try. Food service stops at 2:30, and I'm not sure when it starts again for dinner.
