It feels like a little ocean paradise, just outside Saint Louis's busy streets. We stayed in a sea-view room and could walk to the beautiful Atlantic beach. The hotel seems to cater to French tourists, and at times it didn't feel very friendly. The restaurant food was nice, though. It was a bit expensive: the 57000cfa price didn't include breakfast, which cost another 5000cfa per person, and breakfast wasn't that nice. There are cheaper rooms. Rooms were well equipped with mosquito nets and hot showers. A few small changes could make this place perfect. I'd shop around, since other local hotels might offer better prices. If you stay here, ask to have breakfast included when booking.

Absolutely awful! We stayed in a “luxury” room and I've never dealt with so many cockroaches. When we told the staff, they did nothing. I wouldn't recommend it, though the pool was nice.

I’d pick this over Hotel de la Poste. In the off-season, a night costs somewhere between 20 and 50k CFA, and the meal I had here was probably one of the best I’ve had in Dakar.

The rooms are good, and the beach stretch here is lovely. Food was quite good too, and the manager was great. I’d stay here instead of downtown.

The pool is small but great, and there’s a bar. This seems to be the only clean part of Hydrobase beach.
