The only real plus was the location, and the night watchman was very friendly. The rest was a complete disaster. The cabin was tiny, with the kitchenette right by the entrance, and there was no living room, chair, or wardrobe. The only place to sit was outside on very uncomfortable wooden benches by a pool that looked like a cesspool. Nobody swam in it. There are just two cabins, directly opposite the landlord's house, so there was almost no privacy and he could keep looking over. After water damage, my clothes were floating in water and electrical shorts kept happening. The landlord only dealt with it after two days and a lot of pleading, and he wasn't very friendly. A cleaning lady costs extra. For what you get, it's far too expensive. There are a thousand times nicer apartments and houses in Saly for the same price.

The sea, places to eat, shops, and a supermarket were all within a five-minute reach. The accommodation was beautiful, and the host was great. Absolutely perfect!

Early mornings came with lovely birdsong, and the place felt peaceful and green, with a few fruit trees. A great spot for a weekend with the kids. Make sure to stop at the Coulang restaurant for the braised thiof, it’ll make your day.
