We arranged the airport taxi through the owner, which spared us the city chaos. During our three nights, the host was great and shared detailed tips for getting around, along with plenty of recommendations. He speaks French and Italian. The food and location are both worth recommending, and the WiFi is reliable. Hot water was available in the evenings.

The mosque nearby woke us at sunrise on Friday, and there was no hot water, if that matters to you. Still, this is a great hostel, and the host is friendly and speaks English. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The staff are really friendly, and the owner was super helpful arranging transport. You can get meals here too. It’s a great place to stay, close to Dakar.

Laura and her staff made us feel at home the whole time, and they were lovely about offering suggestions for things to see and do. Toubab Dialaw is a quiet, clean place, and the dinners are delicious. We had a wonderful stay in such a welcoming spot. I’d definitely recommend it!
