The breakfast was good, and the pool area is a cute spot to unwind. The hotel was clean and lovely, and the staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way for me. It felt like home in Paramaribo. Thanks to the whole team!

The staff made this first visit to Suriname such a great stay. Before we arrived, they arranged an airport transfer, which I’d recommend since the airport is FAR from the city. They helped with laundry at a reasonable price, got food ordered for us when we arrived late, and booked a dolphin cruise at the last minute. When I got a pretty nasty infection just before we left for the interior, Sherona found a doctor, called her for me, and helped set up my appointment. Later, Pizza Hut said they’d accept my Visa card on delivery, but that turned out not to be true. Lucy at the front desk stepped in, paid in cash for us, and added it to our room bill. The team really went above and beyond. The room was spotless, right down to the sheets. Breakfast cost an extra 12 USD, which seemed steep, but it was nice not to have to think about breakfast in the morning, and the food was fantastic. We appreciated the stay and hope to visit again.
