The way the blackjack hand was handled at Mirage Casino was unacceptable. The dealer had 19, I had 18, and my 300 SRD chips were still on the table. A few minutes later, while the dealer was preparing new cards, a supervisor came over and claimed the dealer had mistakenly paid me 300 SRD. That hadn't happened. The chips were still there on the table. I politely asked to see the camera footage, but they said they'd already checked it and called me over. I wasn't allowed to view it myself, even though that could have cleared things up right away. I lost 600 SRD, around €13, but the money isn't the main issue. It was the unprofessional, disrespectful way the situation was dealt with. A new casino that describes itself as modern and professional should show honesty, transparency, and fairness. I didn't experience any of those here. I'm posting this so others know. Until Mirage Casino improves its integrity and how it treats customers, I can't recommend it.

Right in the city center, and the hotel is newly built and really beautiful. It’s a five-star place with a casino on the ground floor. The carpets throughout are thick and luxurious, and the rooms are lovely too.

The food was excellent, and the drinks were good too. You can play roulette, blackjack, and plenty of slot machines here. It gets quite busy, though the size of the place makes it feel less noticeable, and the atmosphere is nice. Smoking is allowed on the top floor. Casino visitors can park for free in the garage opposite. Give them your license plate when you leave and you can drive straight out.
