The rooms were clean and practical, with a fridge and kettle, and I was happy with my three-day stay. Breakfast was good: eggs that alternated between omelettes and scrambled, cheese, ham, bread, a great selection of fruit, and a lovely juice or smoothie. The staff really made the stay, especially the friendly, helpful women at breakfast. My only complaint was the smell from someone smoking in the cafe I had to pass through on the way upstairs. It wasn't noticeable once I reached my room, and the breakfast room off the cafe was smell-free.

It's a decent spot for getting around, with quick access to the waterfront, convenience stores, restaurants, and bars. By the country's standards it's fine, though a little expensive for what you get. I found that prices like that seem to be common across the country.

Right in the middle of town, beside a supermarket and close to several casual cafes and restaurants, plus other local conveniences. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to help. There was a mix-up with Expedia on my second stay, but they sorted it out quickly as soon as it came to light and kept me well informed.

My room had everything I needed, including a coffee kettle, fridge, Wi-Fi, strong air conditioning, and a big balcony facing the front. It was all working, and the hotel is centrally located. After checkout, as I was leaving, one of the women followed me out holding some money. I only speak English, so I couldn't understand her and thought she was asking me for money. It turned out she was trying to give me 200 Dobras, about $8. I'm still not sure why, but I applaud her for it.

Colonial-style architecture and decor, fresh flowers in the hallway, and a lovely room with everything equipped. The people were extremely kind, the breakfast was great, and the centre and sea are just a short walk away.
