My husband and I stayed here about seven months ago and really enjoyed it. The customer service was great. The manager even let us use the kitchen to cook a meal from Ghana, our home country, which was very considerate.

The room was small, and the bathroom tiny, with a shower curtain that looked ready to fall down. There’s no enclosed parking area, and the nearby neighborhoods can make it noisy at times. The TV had poor reception, and of the five or six channels available, RTP África and Canal Local seemed to work only when Luxan felt like it. It was the only place we stayed in São Tomé that had a TV. On the plus side, it’s just a minute or two from the center by car. The staff were very helpful, especially Marlene, thanks for the help. Breakfast was good, and the room had A/C.
