It was clean and felt safe for an overnight stay, with a cool design and an antique collection that gave it a distinctive feel. We stayed in a bungalow for $48/night. The bathroom was private but outside, right beside the bungalow, and the price seemed a little high for what you got. Breakfast came with the stay, though it was only okay. There weren’t many choices, and the food seemed to have been sitting out for a while.

La Estancia made my long layover easy. The team answered my questions quickly and helped with transportation, and the driver even took me to find an ATM nearby after the airport one didn’t work. You can pay by card or cash. My room was comfortable and had great AC. The restaurant was handy and open almost 24 hours, and I liked the vintage, retro lobby decor. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The rooms were comfortable, though what you get is pretty typical for El Salvador. Some have hot water and some don’t. The open air restaurant beside the pool had delicious food and a charming feel, and there were plenty of well mannered chuchos to pet. A wonderful hotel with an authentic atmosphere.

A decent place for the day before an early flight. The shuttle was reliable and reasonably priced. They warned me before check in about the mosquitoes, but I still killed 10 in my room while settling in. I wish there had been plug ins or some kind of repellent. The hot water was a nice plus.

Our flight to Dallas was rescheduled for the next day, so we needed a last minute booking on January 27th 2026. The shuttle showed up in under 10 minutes, and check in was easy. The rooms were clean, and I loved the hotel’s antique theme. Breakfast was delicious. The ride back to the airport was excellent and got us there in time for the new flight.
