Handy location, with a mall, shops, and places to eat all around it.

We spent 12 days here with a group during a mission trip to San Salvador in July 2023. The owner is an Adventist woman, and she kindly worked with our mission manager to arrange the stay and make sure we were looked after. The staff don't speak much English, so knowing a few Spanish phrases helps. Google Translate can help too. Useful things to know how to ask for are your breakfast ticket, an iron, and extra towels from housekeeping. Breakfast every morning was amazing, with lots of tasty Salvadorean dishes as well as some American food. The hotel pool was always clean. I was too busy to swim, but I sat by it and dipped my feet in. The hotel cat belongs to the owner and is friendly, so don't be surprised if you see it wandering around. The location worked well, less than a 10-minute walk from a large mall where I went shopping and had lunch twice. Housekeepers cleaned every day, and the toilet, shower, and Air Conditioning Unit all worked reliably. The AC mattered a lot in the heat. My husband and I found our room very tiny, with little room to move around, and there wasn't an iron in the room. You have to ask the front desk for one.

Patricia was really helpful in finding parking, which can be a problem, so call ahead to reserve a spot. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was included. Cozy, quiet, comfortable, and not expensive.

For a single traveler or a couple, the single room costs 44 dollars. The hotel is nice and good value, and the staff are very friendly toward Americans. They’re happy to get to know you and can use Google Translate to communicate. There’s a Roman/Greek theme inside, along with maps of places for tourists to visit. A main mall is close by for picking up anything you need. I’d recommend it for a long stay.
