The dorm beds at Club 27 were really comfortable, with plenty of storage and privacy curtains. We had a great four-night stay in central Santa Ana. Marvin was friendly and helpful with booking tours to Santa Ana Volcano and the Ruta de las Flores, and breakfast was delicious. Thanks for having us, Marvin :)

The AC was sooo nice, and the staff and owner were really friendly. Everything was very clean. Easily the best hostel in El Salvador, and I’d definitely stay again!

Marvin and his team were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Club 27 is new, with a cafe in the same building, so there are people around. It’s a peaceful place about five minutes’ walk from the cathedral. The dorm is spacious and very clean. Each bed has a curtain, its own light and outlet, and a towel, which I loved. If you want a clean, roomy place in a great location with lovely people looking after you, this is the one.

Marvin was kind and welcoming from the start, and when my girlfriend needed to go to hospital, he went above and beyond to help us. That level of care meant a lot. We absolutely loved staying at Club 27 Hostel and would come back in a heartbeat. The dorms were among the nicest we’ve stayed in across Central America: spacious, comfortable, and very clean. There were only three of us in an eight-bed room, and both the room and bathroom were spotless. The beds were comfy, and free towels were a nice perk. There’s also a cafe on site, ranked among the city’s top cafes, and it’s well worth trying. Right in the city center, it’s easy to explore the area. The hostel is quiet and not especially social, which we actually liked for relaxing and recharging. For something more social, you can head out, and we’d recommend Casa Coco’s pupusa-making class. It’s brand new and deserves more recognition despite having few reviews. Highly recommend.

We stopped in for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and nicely presented, coffee refills came in a relaxing setting, and the staff were super friendly.
