5 Bedrooms Villa Bel Amour, luxury and awesome sea view - SXM

The place was even prettier in person than in the photos. It was clean and comfortable, and the host was friendly and quick to respond. I'm so grateful we got to stay here. Heaven on Earth. Thank you!

They are building another villa right behind this one, so the view and the peace and quiet you might expect are at risk. The outside area in the photos doesn't show what it's really like, and I feel the owner misrepresented the villa. The owner was staying in what seemed to be an illegal basement apartment downstairs and watching us the whole time. It felt strange, like a hotel in the middle of a private neighborhood, which isn't what I wanted. This isn't a legal nine-bedroom villa, and you will not get the privacy you're paying for. Beware.

We had an incredible time. The sunrise and water views from the villa may be the best I've ever seen, and the infinity pool is enormous, around 60 feet by 16. Every bedroom is spacious and has its own ensuite, and the huge kitchen has all the appliances, utensils, and pans we could need. Georges was a phenomenal host, very responsive and thoughtful. We were celebrating a milestone, and he arranged macarons one day and a birthday cake another. The roads getting there can be tricky, but it was well worth it. I'd happily return. The view was something else, and Georges gave us plenty of helpful suggestions for massages, a chef, a sailing day, and grocery delivery. Our group was four couples who met in college over 40 years ago. We all loved having king beds and ensuite bathrooms, and each room had its own A/C remote so we could set the temperature. The kitchen was easy to use and well equipped. Georges was amazing from the start to the end, and every interaction felt focused on helping us enjoy his home. We loved our week in St Maarten and highly recommend booking with your group. Merci beaucoup, Georges. Go Heels!
