Lots of nice shops and coffee shops, with great lunch options. The marina is small but neat and professional. Clean, respectable, and safe.

It’s a nice, secure compound, but there isn’t much to do and it’s very quiet. I personally like lively nightlife, so that wasn’t really for me. There’s no direct beach access either, so you have to walk 15 mins or drive to get there.

There’s good food nearby, and you’re close to the water for sea excursions. The casino is exciting too. A great place to stay in Saint Maarten.

I stopped here before boarding a fishing charter. The square has a lovely French Caribbean feel, with a great waterside bar and several small restaurants. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that the local gift shop didn’t have hats, sunglasses, or sunscreen. There’s a convenience store just outside, though, and it was well stocked with necessities apart from clothing.
