Hilton Vacation Club Flamingo Beach St. Maarten

We spent about a week here with our two kids, ages one and three, and enjoyed every moment. The beach access and views were lovely, and the kids were happy at both the beach and the pool. We could walk to plenty of restaurants and a grocery store, and it was easy to drive around the island too. We asked for a pack-n-play cot for our one-year-old, which made sharing a room easier. The barn door between the room areas was a great feature, since my husband and I could stay up after the kids went to bed. I'd recommend this hotel.

We spent 10 days here at the end of November 2025, and we'll be back. The hotel, its location, and the staff made it a 10/10 for us. Our second-level room faced the beach, so it was easy to go between the room and the beach. The room was very clean, and housekeeping came every three days without us having to request it. The front desk and cleaning staff were amazing, courteous, and professional. Tessy was the best. Staff communicate by text, so having a phone plan for the island is helpful. The room kitchen had everything we needed: paper towels, dishwasher soap, sponges, salt and pepper, dishes, pots, and pans. Parking was ample. I'm not sure why others called it limited; they may not have known about the parking under the hotel. The beach was awesome, and the water was always calm. There's sand in the water, so rock shoes aren't needed. We also enjoyed snorkeling in the bay by the hotel, and farther out you can find sea turtles and sting rays.

We had a good stay, and the room came with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and all the plates and glassware we needed. The bathroom was spacious, the balcony was roomy, and the A/C worked well. There's free laundry on site, and grills are available if you want to cook. We didn't eat at the on-site restaurant, though there are many restaurants within walking distance. We drove around to different beaches, so we didn't use the beach or pool here, but the setup looked nice. Parking was tight in a few spots, yet we always found a place. The room was cleaned only once during our six nights; staff texted to ask whether we needed towels or kitchen items. I'm not a timeshare "vacation club" member, and I avoided the sales pitch. As a Hilton diamond member, I didn't get an upgrade, so don't count on perks beyond two bottles of water.

Our room in building 3 was spotless and felt brand new, from the towels and sheets to the appliances and furniture. It was perfectly equipped, and Jahnilla checked us in and out so gracefully. The large balcony looked out over the bay and mega yachts. The villas are only a few minutes' walk from the beaches. Staff at the bars and on the beach were pleasant and very helpful. We ate at Juliette's Bistro a couple of times and were impressed by the food. The specials were honestly priced.
