The valley and mountain views are incredible, and the restaurant served really good food with an excellent choice of South African wines. We had a wedding at the venue arranged at short notice, and the staff and management gave us amazing help getting everything ready quickly. I’d highly recommend this lodge for events and as a place to stay when visiting eSwatini.

Beautiful scenery, comfortable clean rooms, and excellent food. The staff were super friendly and helpful too. This little gem made for a great experience all round.

The pasta was a horrible experience for the price. I ordered the spicy aldente pasta with pesto and paid 40 rands extra for chicken, but the dish didn’t match its menu description at all. The spaghetti was broken into overcooked pieces, drenched in oil, and tasted like cheap supermarket stir-fry. There were only seven small bits of chicken breast, nowhere near half a breast, and no sign of spice. The waiter’s service was poor too. I had to go into the kitchen myself to ask for chili sauce.

We only went to the restaurant and didn’t stay at the lodge. The place is lovely, and the views from the restaurant are breathtaking, which makes the food such a shame. It was supermarket quality, a new low for bad food. It’s offensive to pay for that. They need to do better.

The owner checked on us every morning at breakfast to ask whether we were still being looked after, and everyone was so friendly. Our waitress, Dlalisile, deserves a thumbs up. The food was superb, the service excellent, and we really enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful, with green lawns and trees, plus a large dining hall. I liked the pool too, though the weather meant we couldn’t swim.
