From the rooms, which were in pristine condition, to the lovely views of green hills and mountains, this place was a pleasure to stay at. It’s easy to find and get to, and the service was consistently impeccable and trustworthy. A must-book.

Good value for the money, but the service was very poor. The kitchen is shared and sits outside the house.

Our hostess made us feel so welcome and even took us to some lovely places in her home country. That warm welcome, and the whole stay, went beyond what we expected. The freshly renovated flats are clean and furnished with a lot of care, in an idyllic green setting beneath Sebebe Rock. It was a wonderful way to begin our family holiday at African Violet. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting eSwatini, and want to say thank you again.

There’s a local bar and little shop nearby, and a meat shop about 200m from the hotel where you can cook BBQ. The bus from town costs only 10R. Nice place, good bed, and the hot water was fine, though the pressure was weak.
