The Executive - Exclusive Self-Catering Apartments - Ezulwini

I booked a unit for my aunt's 15-day stay. Make Ntsiki was professional and helpful with the booking and made a genuine effort to welcome us, which we appreciated. Sadly, the apartment itself fell far short of what I would expect from a place called “The Executive – Luxury Serviced Apartments.” The first impression was poor maintenance: there was a long crack where the main bedroom door frame met the wall, visible stains that looked like spilled red drink on the wall to the bedrooms, and a towel on the guest bed with loose, fraying threads. The storage cupboards were dusty, and my aunt had to wipe the kitchen and bathroom counters herself and scrub the toilets and showers before she felt comfortable using them. Guests shouldn't have to do that in a serviced apartment. Several fixtures also concerned us. The dining chair I sat on was loose and nearly collapsed. The main bedroom bathroom toilet seat was loose and almost came off when I lifted the lid, while the second bathroom seat was cracked. The bedroom electrical socket came completely out of the wall when I tried to unplug a device, which could be dangerous. The freezer was full of thick, stained ice and unusable until staff defrosted it. For a well-located property with potential, this was a disappointing and concerning arrival. The unit showed too little attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and quality control. A property presented as luxury serviced apartments should meet a much higher standard.
