The Banyan Inn

The Inn’s small, secluded setting was a welcome break from the bustle of a larger place, and we loved having kayaks, an ice chest, beach umbrella, chairs, and snorkel gear available. Amy’s craftsmanship and pride showed throughout the property, and the staff were great. Sophia was our favorite. Amy and Randy made sure the details were covered and aimed to offer a happy stay at a good value for the island. The price and value are hard to match. On arrival, Amy showed us around and explained the amenities, then gave us detailed, transparent advice about places to visit and restaurants. Every recommendation met or exceeded what we expected. We had a splendid time and left feeling recharged and relaxed. Thanks for a great stay.

The room was pretty, the bathroom was nice, and the view was gorgeous. You’ll need a car, since Banyan is a 7 minute drive from gracebay, but that was very manageable. After a long, tiring day of flying, we arrived hungry, and Amy kindly gave me snacks when my dinner reservation was still 3 hours away and couldn’t be moved. She was ready to help from arrival to departure and made our vacation special. I really enjoyed the stay, and the hospitality and nightly rate were both great. I highly recommend it.

During our 8 nights at the banyan inn in September of 2019, Amy and Randy looked after every need we and the other guests had. The location is fantastic, and Amy even took us to the pirate’s cove and spent the day showing us around. The rooms were clean, and each morning’s included breakfast was a delightful surprise. We also used the kayaks to explore the back channels on quiet mornings. It was a great stay, and we’d choose it again if we visit T&C.

We liked the Banyan Inn enough to extend our honeymoon stay, and it was a beautiful, peaceful base for exploring all sides of the island. Get a rental car and you’ll be set. The rooms were cozy, with a comfortable bed, a huge shower, plenty of towels and toiletries, plus bug spray and sunscreen. The walk around deck was sweet, the pool was large, and the views were amazing. They cleaned and refreshed the room thoroughly every day. Amy was an awesome host, always friendly, happy to answer questions, and full of useful advice to make the trip better than expected. Thanks, Amy, for helping make our honeymoon such a success and letting us stay in your beautiful place. Highly recommend it.
