The Shore Club Turks & Caicos

The complimentary breakfast feels like a bargain every time we have it. There’s great service and access to everything, and the island is so small that the place almost feels private. Just watch out for seaweed season. Can’t wait to return.

At night, the resort feels flat: there’s little entertainment, the pools often seem empty and overlooked, and the place lacks energy. Beach service is practically nonexistent, which is especially frustrating in a setting where you’d expect staff to be attentive. I even saw a server spit into the bushes while clearing a table, right in front of guests. That’s not acceptable anywhere. Service around the property was slow and disengaged, with staff rarely checking in. Many seemed unhappy, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable and low energy. The food was consistently disappointing. Prices were very high, the choices limited, and the food itself average. Nothing was awful, but nothing stood out. Drinks were also overpriced and unremarkable. We’ve stayed at plenty of exclusive, high-end resorts around the world and know what a place at this price should deliver. The Shore Club Turks & Caicos wasn’t outright bad, but it fell short of the quality and experience it promises. The value just isn’t there.

Long Bay views are beautiful from the rooms, patios, and balconies. The resort is low density, with a great family pool and an incredible adults-only pool and deck. There are plenty of restaurant options, and the shuttle to sister property The Palms gives you another lovely place to enjoy.

We only spent an afternoon at this resort, but were very impressed. GM Chris was professional from the start and made sure we had a great day. The beach was amazing, and the staff were just as wonderful. We’ll definitely return.
