The atmosphere is great, and the rooms are affordable. There are apartments here too, plus a waterfront. Quite a lot of white guys come here.

I liked being close to the airport and right by the lagoon. A morning walk along the water was pleasant, and the WiFi and hot shower worked well. The pool and restaurant looked inviting, but I didn't get to try either. The room was the letdown: small and unpleasant, with clean sheets but an old, dirty blanket. The TV didn't work, the furniture was worn, and the bathroom and shower were tiny. It was fine for one quick night, though I wouldn't stay another night or bring my wife there.

The pool is fantastic, and the whole place feels calm and relaxed. I liked how open it is, surrounded by tropical greenery, and sitting on the balcony in the morning to watch the birds was lovely. The lagoon is close by for walks, and I think the location in Lomé is the best. Nearby bars can make evenings noisy, but it's still much better than sleeping by the beach beside the busy national road to Ghana. It also feels refreshingly different from a regular hotel.

The French food was five-star, and they gave me a huge discount. I cycled all the way from Nigeria and this was the recommended place to stay. It's a lovely little hotel beside the lagoon, with a pool, and the owners are bikers, so cyclists are very welcome. I'd happily come back many more times.

The lake views are lovely and it's a nice little place, but the rooms feel dated and the beds are rock hard.
