The staff were nice, but getting the exact rooms we had paid for took a real fight. The mattresses in all three rooms were worn out, with every spring noticeable. It was also overpriced compared with nearby hotels. Why stay somewhere like that?

The food and service at dinner were very good, and the cocktails were nice too. Rooms were clean and pleasant, and the staff were super friendly and hospitable. The set breakfast was a little better, especially the coffee. The buffet had limited choices, but was acceptable. The problem was a group singing karaoke at 22:00, loud enough to keep us from sleeping. We called the front desk, and the staff dealt with it professionally, eventually getting the group to stop at 22:40. We appreciate that, but loud singing like this shouldn't have been allowed to disturb other guests in the first place. Aside from that, we had a very nice stay.

Breakfast came as a nice set menu, with drinks available for self-service. The modern room had a comfortable bed, a good-sized shower, and plenty of conveniently located power outlets. Check-in was efficient, and we were welcomed with a drink by the friendly staff. The air conditioning cooled the room well and filtered the air, which helped with the high PM levels outside. An air purifier could be a thoughtful complimentary addition at this room rate. As mentioned in the booking, there were no tea-making facilities, but we did get free soft drinks and snacks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Amphawa Riverfront Hotel.

There's a good restaurant beside the river, and the room was clean with a nice vibe. The Amphawa Floating market is just a stone's throw away, and there's ample parking.

It's low season, so things may be a bit different right now. Each night, on top of breakfast, they give you 400 baht in credits for the in-house bistro. The minibar drinks and snacks are free too, though there's no booze, so bring your own. The toiletries, including a toothbrush, bar soap, and body cream, are pretty great. Towels are super absorbent cotton terrycloth. The liquid soap works, but it's just okay.
