The meditation area is a peaceful place to pray or simply relax. The setting feels calm and cozy, beside a canal with coconut trees, almost like being at a welcoming relative's home. Staff were friendly and helpful, sharing tips on local markets, food spots, and nearby attractions. Every room has a river view. You can kayak, walk through the coconut garden, or watch fireflies at night. They also offer wellness retreats, yoga, workshops, and small group seminars. The location is handy for Amphawa Floating Market, King Rama II Park, Wat Chulamanee, and convenience stores. A soothing nature getaway near Bangkok, with warm hospitality.

The moment we arrived at KalaCanal, in Amphawa district, Samut Songkhram province, it felt like we'd entered another world, far from Thailand. The canal runs among coconut trees and other orchards, with birds singing all around, and the place is so peaceful. The drive from Bangkok is about 1.5 hours. I made the mistake of booking just one night on my first visit. Now I know to plan for at least 2-3 nights. This is our “Shangri-la” in Thailand.

It's a place to reconnect with nature and let your body and mind recover. When city life gets busy, this peaceful meditation sanctuary offers refuge, where you can relax and let your mind settle with the water, trees, and blue sky.

The scenery is very natural, and there's also a place for spiritual reflection. We had a great LOY KRATHONG and enjoyed delicious food and fresh fruit.

The service team was very friendly, and it's a great place to visit. I recommend taking the boat to Ampawa Water Market, it's the best way to get there.
