The owner is very friendly, attentive, and fun to talk to, with great service and helpful explanations and advice. In the morning, you can have rice porridge and coffee by the canal, and the place is next to a floating market where food and coffee are sold. The setting is quiet and peaceful. Parking is inside, though you have to walk from there to the room. The room itself is old but clean enough, and the mattress is hard. The downstairs room is damp. If someone stays upstairs, you really notice every step on the stairs, and if something drops, it can make you jump again and again. There’s a small wall-mounted TV and a bathtub, but it’s a cement tub that takes a long time to fill. It’s probably the cheapest place in the area.

I've already stayed here three times, and the owner always makes me feel welcome, like I'm at home. The accommodation is clean, and I love the traditional Thai houses. There's even a bathtub with hot water. Dinner is delicious and generous, so come hungry! The setting is lovely for relaxing, with coconut groves, a market, and a canal, and the air feels so good. I also love the early morning alms giving ceremony with monks by boat. Everyone is friendly, the market items are reasonably priced, and the food is delicious. It's easy to stay here and pick up souvenirs for the family. The price is reasonable, and I highly recommend it.

We came on a weekday and were the only guests at the guesthouse, so it felt like a holiday in Amphawa-Mae Klong. The owner took great care of us, and the newly renovated Family Suite had room for four. Yingluck the cat was there to greet us. The whole stay felt so welcoming. It was wonderful!
