The quiet and those incredible views were exactly what we needed, even though Ao Luek Panorama Villa is about an hour from the main city. I hadn’t noticed the distance when booking, but being away from the bustle turned out to be a real blessing. We left feeling refreshed after a memorable stay. The staff were so kind and helpful. They arranged rides for much less than taxi prices and set up a private island tour away from the busy tourist spots. We watched the sunset in peace and visited a lobster farm, where the seafood was really fresh and surprisingly affordable. A lovely highlight. We’d happily come back and have already recommended the place to friends.

A peaceful hotel tucked into the jungle, with good facilities. You’ll need your own transport to get around. Cleanliness could be a bit better, though it was fair for a one-night stay.

We had a rental car, which made it easy to explore nearby and eat out. Without one, you’ll need a taxi or have to eat at the hotel. The views and quiet are the main reasons to stay here. Our deluxe villa was very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and a nicely spacious private balcony. I did miss having a bathtub, and the AC blew straight toward the bed. The staff were nice. Breakfast was why I stopped short of five stars. It didn’t meet our expectations: just instant coffee, and the Thai dishes were cold even when we came early, except for the congee. You can order eggs, but no one offered them. During our three stays, the fruit was watermelon and dragon fruit, when it hadn’t run out. I’d still recommend the place.

The views are among the best I’ve seen in Thailand, and the price is very good for what you get. It really feels like a hidden gem, and I almost kept quiet so it would stay that way. I’ll definitely return 🙏
