Such a different experience with the family, in the best way. It’s laid-back and has a lovely family and community feel, and it worked great with kids. We slept better than expected and really enjoyed getting away for something different. They even make cappuccino with oat milk 😅🙏🏼

This was the highlight of our time in Thailand. It’s a little out of the way, but the front desk helped us book unforgettable experiences without any trouble. We met some amazing people, and the lively atmosphere makes it easy to connect and feel part of a community. The staff are sweet and helpful, and the food and smoothies were delicious. It’s not for everyone. If you want modern comforts or a warm shower, look elsewhere. But if you love being close to nature and can do without some amenities, you’ll love it here. The dogs and cats were adorable and friendly, and as animal lovers we were glad we could pet them without worry. You can tell the owners put their heart into the place. We left with wonderful memories.

It’s easy to feel at home here. The people are welcoming and caring, the atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, and both the surroundings and food are lovely. A beautiful place to relax, highly recommended.

The pillowcases had black mold, and I ended up sleeping with my clothes wrapped around the pillow. I knew this was a basic place and appreciated the warning, but cleanliness still matters. There was also a dirty baby nappy in one of the showers. Breakfast was stale: the bread tasted old, and the butter tub was nearly empty and covered in mold. We checked out two days early. We’d come for a relaxing break in nature but were put next to a very loud family whose kids were screaming. I know that wasn’t the staff’s fault, but one child was allowed to bang loudly on drums at 7 a.m. They could at least have put us, a couple, somewhere quieter. The music at night was good and we enjoyed it, though the owner didn’t acknowledge us, which felt strange after we’d paid to stay there. We’d also wanted to take trips, but booking a boat seemed almost impossible unless you had a big group. A private trip was extortionately priced compared with other places, and seemed to depend on whether the staff could be bothered to take you. There were warning signs from the start. Our Grab driver insisted we cancel the ride in the app, saying his friends go there for parties. We spent the whole drive unsure who the driver was or whether he’d demand extra money. We told the owners, but they seemed to laugh when we arrived. I really wanted to enjoy this place and didn’t want to leave such a negative review. The defensive replies to other negative reviews should have been a clue that the owner wasn’t willing to improve. It could be amazing if more care went into the details. If you’ve booked, bring your own pillowcase.
