Ancora Blu Boutique Hotel

The balcony view was nice and the staff were kind, but I found the stay below average for what I paid. The room felt cramped and dingy, and some of the lights didn't work. The route to the supposedly private balcony wasn't private, which left me wondering what the point of it was. For the same price, I could definitely have found better accommodation.

When I arrived, I asked if someone could help carry my luggage upstairs. The receptionist said she was the only person working there. The hotel seemed to have no staff for other services, and they didn't understand or speak English. Other families staying there at the time faced the same problems. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We'd happily come back. Breakfast was delicious and included, and there are so many good local restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a great view and sits away from the busy tourist street, though it's still close by.

Breakfast had a very tasty range of healthy options. I did feel a bit uncomfortable, though, because the room doors didn't lock from the inside.
