Ao Nang Colors - Aonang Beach Hotel

The staff made this stay especially good. Fern went out of her way to arrange a private tour at the last minute, then checked in with us afterwards. The other staff we met were very helpful and thoughtful too. The hotel is in a quieter part of Ao Nang but still near the beach, restaurants, and shops. Our room was spacious and charming, with a private hot tub on the terrace and a Thai cushion in the reading nook. The infinity pool was lovely and well maintained. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Ao Nang.

We had a great stay in two connecting rooms, one for us parents and one for the kids. Both the rooms and bathrooms were enormous. The infinity pool and its view were lovely. The location was ideal, within walking distance of the beach and boat landings, but in a much quieter area. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

I left the next morning after finding several insects in Room 1 on February 16 that looked consistent with bed bugs. I took photos and video, reported what I found, and checked out early. The property said they were "wood bugs" and initially disputed my refund request. They also said they would authorize a refund only if I removed my public review. In the end, my booking platform issued a full refund. If something similar happens, document it carefully and contact your booking provider. I’m sharing my experience so other guests can decide with that in mind.

Fern was lovely, and May🌟 on reception went out of her way to help when my partner left his phone in a transfer taxi. We got it back thanks to her. The staff were amazing. The rooms were large, with a comfy bed and sheets, and the shower was great. The hotel is about five minutes on foot from both beaches and around ten from the food market. We ate out, so didn’t try breakfast. Only thing I wished for was a pool bar.
