Aonang Third Place

The rooms were very clean, and there were no animals inside them :) The owner is the nicest lady, gave us lots of amazing recommendations, and made us coffee in the morning. It’s the best escape from busy Ao Nang, balancing the crazy streets with the calm jungle. Best place to stay in Krabi! Highly recommend!!!

Getting around was easy even though the hotel is a few kilometres from main Aonang beach, since Grab is well connected there. We were welcomed warmly, and our room was spacious and tidy. They took our requests seriously, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We'd definitely come back!

The quiet setting made it easy to sleep, and the service was great. I really liked the room's atmosphere, especially the view of the trees from the sink. Aonang Beach is a bit far, about a five-minute ride, but renting a bike would make that no problem. I did find around 10 bugs that I think were centipedes around the property, which scared me, though I was lucky my husband was there. Given how close it is to the forest, I can understand it. There's also no iron, which is difficult for someone who wears a hijab.

The owners were friendly from the moment we arrived and helped us rent a scooter. They stayed helpful throughout, and the room was cleaned every day with two fresh water bottles left for us. It was huge, with very cold air conditioning and a patio where we could sit or dry our clothes. The location worked well too, close enough by scooter to get around, but far enough away to stay quiet. We also appreciated the laundry place on the road leading up, since we hadn't done laundry in weeks. A couple of cats, a rooster, and a chicken trying to hatch an ashtray made the place even more memorable. We loved it and would come back.
