The garden and canal views are gorgeous, and the rooms feel especially roomy and well equipped. There are snacks and drinks available for a small charge, too. The place itself is lovely and cozy, and the woman at reception was incredibly kind and helpful.

Baan Calaee has a lovely garden where you can sit and unwind, and the room was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. We appreciated the air conditioning, too. Our host was so kind and made us feel welcome. It’s a bit away from the town’s main sights, though getting there only costs a few baht. We had a great stay at Baan Canalee and would recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere quiet and roomy.

The river-facing terrace was a lovely escape from the city bustle. I could picture spending the whole day there with tea or coffee. We booked one of the owner’s four side-by-side, two-storey units for a night and fell for it straight away. The manicured garden was beautiful, the house was thoughtfully designed, and both the rooms and comfortable beds were very clean. We had a great time and might return someday.

It’s peaceful just beyond the main island, with a lovely garden and plenty of room inside. The owner was really friendly and helpful, and we liked the design details in the rooms.

The little garden and patio were perfect for relaxing, and I even enjoyed puffing my cigars there. Baan Canalee has a pleasant feel to it, and the chalet was clean and comfortable. The location is very central, with easy access to most of the important sights. A great deal.
