Apple A Day Resort

There are lots of Indian restaurants in the area, and a 7 Eleven just a minute away. The hotel is a three-minute walk from the beach, with two pools, including one that’s great for children. The kids’ soft play area was nice too, and daycare gave parents a chance to enjoy their holiday. Khwan in the play area was very friendly, and the kids felt comfortable with her. Drink prices were very reasonable.

The pool area was the best part for our child. The kids’ slides felt safe and fun, and the water was clean. The resort layout is pleasant and gives the place a relaxing feel. Ms. Tips was a bright spot too. She greeted us warmly and showed genuine hospitality. The hotel has good facilities and potential, but the basics need more consistent attention. Our room was the biggest letdown. It was dusty when we arrived, with strands of hair on the floor and in corners, and the floor felt sandy. The sheets were clean, but the room didn’t seem properly checked before we got there. Paint was peeling from the walls, and the bathroom fell short of what I’d expect from a four-star hotel. The toilet seat cover was loose, and the shower head couldn’t be adjusted. Each issue affected the comfort, and together they made the room feel poorly maintained. We were also disappointed by the kids’ club. It didn’t feel properly cleaned or sanitized, which concerned us in a high-touch space and made us hesitant to leave our child there for long. Breakfast was average: enough variety, but nothing memorable in taste or presentation. Some of the amenities were surprising for this level of hotel. The slippers were worn and clearly used, so we had to sanitize them before wearing them. The hairdryer felt very basic, more like one from a budget or two-star property, and there was no toothbrush or basic dental kit. We chose this four-star hotel in Krabi expecting a more reliable experience. Some staff were friendly, and the facilities have promise, but cleanliness, maintenance, and consistent service need significant improvement. I hope management takes the feedback seriously. For now, the room and kids’ club issues make it hard for me to recommend or return.

Even with the terrible weather in late May, my children and I had a wonderful time. The hotel gave us plenty of indoor things to do, and Khwan from the play area was great with my seven- and four-year-olds. The rooms were clean, the location was perfect, and the staff were very friendly. Both the play area and pool were great.

Skor and Tip were so friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. They made an already lovely stay even better. The place was beautiful and comfortable, and we had an amazing time in Krabi. We truly loved it and would recommend it to friends and family!
