Baan Habeebee Resort

The resort is beautiful and affordable, and it gave us the holiday luxuries we needed. It's about 3 km from Aonang beach, so get a scooter and enjoy your stay. There's an open massage spot surrounded by plants, and you can watch the dishes in the pond while having your morning tea or coffee. One of the best resorts I've stayed in Krabi.

The property and its surroundings are lovely, with a big pool, but parts of the room were awkward. The bathroom corridor was very narrow, and the sink had a leg sticking out so close to the shower that I stubbed my toe several times. The room was only semi-comfortable. When we arrived early, the staff were very direct, almost rude, even though we'd emailed ahead. It was my partner's birthday, and I'd asked in advance about a small celebration setup. They didn't reply until we arrived, then offered a £12 cake without decorations. It didn't feel very friendly or accommodating.

We arrived as a family with three children and simply couldn't stay, so I had to find another hotel. Despite it being impossible for us to stay there, the hotel refused to cancel the booking and only refunded one night out of four. The place was in terrible condition and very poorly maintained. The photos were misleading, and the rooms had an unbearable smell. The bathrooms and showers had fixed windows that couldn't be opened, with no ventilation or fan. The kitchen was open to the outside rather than enclosed as part of the unit. The wooden floor was completely uneven, the parquet was coming apart, and the cabinet hinges were rotten. Worst of all was the unbearable stench. Highly not recommended, look for somewhere else to stay.

Really lovely stay, with kind staff and a very cool resort. They even brought us pancakes every morning :)))
