I’ll be back on my next holiday in Krabi. Baan Piengfah is a beautiful house, with large, well-equipped rooms and a good standard throughout. Fah is only a message away if you need anything, and keeps in touch to arrange cleaning when it suits you. It’s peaceful on the outskirts of busy ao nang, far enough away to be quiet but close enough to visit. I usually rent a bike, so getting around is easy. A Grab taxi to central ao nang costs 130 thb. There’s also a shop a couple of minutes’ walk away for essentials, plus talay bar, a fantastic bar and restaurant about 10 minutes away on foot with excellent food and drinks at good prices. I loved my stay here.

The hostess was warm and attentive, and the facilities are lovely. The beach is about a 15-minute drive away, so you’ll need to take a tuk tuk whenever you want to go.
