Baan Zoe Luxury Private Pool Villa

The property itself was huge, clean, and quiet, with a nice garden, a pool, good tuk-tuk service, comfortable beds, large rooms, plenty of storage, and good bathrooms. The accommodation was good, aside from the internet, which was extremely poor. We work from home and couldn’t use it, so we paid for 4G every day. I’d avoid booking tours through this company. It seems to present itself as a tour company but then outsources to other operators that seemed random and possibly chosen for being the cheapest. We paid a lot for two tours. On the first, we spent half the day arguing with the boat owner about what we’d paid for, and he seemed reluctant to do more than the minimum. The second had no guide, just a disinterested, antisocial woman who put us on the bus and then the boat, dropped us off at the end, and did nothing in between. She spent the day on her phone, barely acknowledged us, and told us nothing about the places we visited. It was the worst tour I’ve been on by a long way, and felt like a rip-off. When we complained, the woman just smiled and laughed it off. I felt we should have had money taken off the final bill. That wasn’t good enough. We asked in advance whether we could pay by credit card at departure. The woman we spoke to said there would be a 7% charge, a substantial amount on top of our accommodation and tours. They eventually waived it, but we dislike unpleasant surprises after taking care to clarify things before arriving. The accommodation was good, apart from the internet.

we had good fun at baan zoe krabi and a memorable stay. the villa was clean and had everything we needed. the tuk tuk staff were prompt, and the cleaning staff did a great job. it’s near aonang beach!

Great value for money, with a spacious villa and huge rooms. Service is very good. The furniture and furnishings are clean and well maintained, though they could use modernising.
