De Loft Ao Nang

We stayed four nights. The large bed was extremely comfortable, and the spacious rooms were clean and well maintained. Housekeeping came daily and replenished the water, and the receptionist was kind and helpful. The main problem was noise. The hotel is close to a busy road and a mosque, and the windows barely block sound, so it felt like they were open. The mosque’s call to prayer started around 5:00 a.m. and really disrupted my sleep. Earplugs are definitely needed, and anyone sensitive to noise or who has trouble sleeping should keep that in mind.

The owner was so nice and let us check in a couple of hours early. We stayed three nights, and our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, with restaurants and shops close by. Ao Nang beach is walkable, and there are plenty of scooter rental places nearby if you want to find one that suits you.

An affordable, good-quality place for a simple stay and a good night’s sleep. Our top-floor room was great, with a lovely balcony and a very comfortable bed. It’s a 10-15 walk from the beech. We didn’t need breakfast, since there are places to eat everywhere.

Cleanliness was normal hotel standard. The claim that the bathroom and mattress are new is delulu world, they’re far from new. It’s very noisy. Most rooms face the main road, and you can also hear the prayer call several times a day, especially at 5AM. It’s LOUD. Don’t bother asking to move rooms, that’s not going to happen.
