Hotel Amber Sukhumvit 85

Ying at reception was so kind and helpful, and a young porter helped us arrange transport to the airport. We were also allowed to leave our bags at the hotel after checkout until it was time to go, which we really appreciated. We only stayed one night after a long, exhausting trip from Koh Phangan, and the beautiful, clean, well-organized room and perfect bed were exactly what we needed. Breakfast was great too. We’d absolutely recommend the hotel and stay again.

At 159 baht, the breakfast buffet is impressive value, with good food and plenty of choice. We come here often, and the staff are always welcoming. Gig was especially kind and attentive, and gave us great service. It’s a great Bangkok breakfast spot, and we’ll keep coming back.

The room was comfortable and good for the price, and breakfast on my last day was quite good too. I spent three days at this Bangkok hotel and found the staff friendly throughout, with excellent service. It was a pleasant stay, and I’d consider returning.

We were in room 503 at Amber hotel in Sukhumvit 85. It was quiet and nice, and the reception process was easy. The recommended way in is from BTS ON NUT, only about a five-minute walk. Inside, the linen was fresh, the bed very comfortable, and the pillows just right. The TV was a decent size and well placed. Shower pressure was ample, and the towels were proper towels, not those thin, see-through ones. Breakfast tasted fresh. I preferred the fried egg to the omelet. For what we paid, this hotel punches well above its grade and gets a huge thumbs up from me. Ying & Aew were professional throughout. Thank you, Amber hotel. Phil & Vina
