I booked because of the rooftop balcony shown online, but there was nothing up there except dust, which was really disappointing. Even the dust around the entrance door was a warning. The rooms we saw online gave a very different impression from what we found. The room was very dirty and the bathroom was worse. I don't know when it was last properly swept. I dropped something, and when it rolled under the bed I regretted looking underneath: it was filthy. The electric kettle was extremely dirty too, a real mess. See pictures below.

CHECK IN AT 5 BOX CHANG! CHECK IN AT 5 BOX CHANG! CHECK IN AT 5 BOX CHANG! The Agoda check-in instructions weren't clear, and the first room and check-in process took far too much time. Staff were friendly, but they don't speak English. Calling was difficult, though face to face we could use a translator. The key got stuck in the first container box door. After about ten minutes of trying without fixing it, they moved me to another container. The AC and bed were good, and the price was affordable. You'll need transportation for the location.

Communication in English was poor, which made things very difficult for me. I asked for extra pillows but didn't get them. The bicycles were supposed to be for guests, but the receptionist took one back. Very disappointing.
