Glur Hostel

A quieter hostel that still feels social, and the outdoor common area has different kinds of seating that make it cozy. There’s a pool too. The beds are roomy and comfortable, with plenty of space for your things, and the lockers are more like cupboards, which is handy. The beach is a little farther away, but still walkable.

Best hostel I stayed in. The room and bathroom were impressively clean, and that was the cleanest shower and bathroom I used on my trip. There’s a lovely lounge with a work area, plus a garden and pool. Bread, jam, and coffee are available 24/7, and the owner speaks really good English. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The pizza at the hotel café is unbelievably good, and the price is very reasonable. We loved our stay and will definitely come back. The room was cleaned daily and the towels were changed often. There’s a lovely green area, a great pool, and a common space where you can make coffee, cook, lounge in a hammock, or work at a desk. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We’ll miss their smiles and kindness, and wish them and the hotel all the best.

I loved having a relaxed common area and a coworking spot where I could get work done. The kitchen was spacious and really clean, and easy to use for cooking. They also provide free bread, butter, and jam. My dorm had so much room around the bed that it felt like my own cozy space, and everything was clean and comfortable. The pool was a great extra. This might be my favorite dorm in three years of backpacking, and possibly the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Thailand. I’d come back to Ao Nang and stay here again. Thank you ❤️
