Halal food was a real plus, with a great restaurant on site and other local halal places nearby. It’s tucked away enough to be peaceful, but the main Ao Nang beach, shops, and restaurants are an easy walk or quick tuk-tuk ride away. For the price, the value and genuine hospitality are hard to beat. We’d highly recommend Hasna Palace in Krabi and will be back. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like family and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a little balcony to relax on, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver.

Hot water was the one thing this place had going for it. The room smelled of drains and sewage, just disgusting. I paid £28 for one night, and it wasn’t worth that.

After a long day out, this is an easy, fuss-free option when you’re hungry. Service is quick, the location is convenient, and the halal Thai food comes in generous portions with lots of choice. The dishes are tasty and unpretentious, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for such a touristy area. We used their direct delivery to the hotel through the LINE app a few times, which was incredibly convenient. Highly recommend if you’re after satisfying halal Thai food in Ao Nang.

The seafood tomyum was the standout, rich and full of flavour, with a good balance that wasn’t too spicy or too sweet. We also loved the deep-fried prawn with garlic. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, works well for families, and the prices are affordable. Highly recommended.
