Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach by IHG

We spent two nights here, and the pool was our favorite part. It’s large, has a nice view, and there’s a kids’ water playground with a big slide. Shops are nearby and the beach is walkable. Our spacious room had a balcony with both mountain and sea views, and we found the hotel peaceful and beautiful. We also had dinner at the hotel. The Thai dishes were full of flavor, especially the Pad Thai, which we loved. One of the most impressive Ao Nang hotels we’ve stayed at. I’d recommend it.

The resort was immaculate and modern, and the welcome was warm. Check-in went smoothly. Because of my leg injury, the team gave us a room near the cafe, lobby, and lifts, with a lovely, calming sea view. They also treated us to a delicious cake for our birthday and anniversary. One tip: save suitcase space and use the resort’s shower products. They smell fresh and distinctive, like Krabi in a bottle.

We were welcomed with a sweet birthday message on the bed, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The location was convenient for shops, restaurants, and bars, with the beach about a 10-minute walk away. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfy king-size bed and mini fridge. The balcony was barely big enough for one person, with little view, and the room stayed quite dark. If you’re staying a while, an upgrade might be worth considering. Otherwise, a great hotel.

Mary at the front office made a real difference. She recognized my IHG membership and kindly upgraded us. We arrived early in the morning, but after relaxing by the pool for a couple of hours, our room was ready, even though check-in is officially at 15:00. That flexibility and welcome were much appreciated. The room was clean and roomy, with a nice city view and direct pool access. Staff across the hotel were kind and quick to help us book activities, and renting a scooter through the hotel was easy. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice and well worth the price. The elevator could get quite warm because there’s no air circulation, but that was a small annoyance. After a disappointing stay elsewhere, Holiday Inn Krabi felt like a breath of fresh air. Everyone greeted us with genuine smiles. Great value, and we’d definitely come back.
