Maneetel Krabi Beachfront

We enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The reception staff were kind and helpful. There was a cash deposit of 2000 baht per booking, which we got back at check-out. That seems to be standard at many hotels in Thailand. Every day there was a buffet breakfast with lots of choice. The Thai dishes were amazing and very spicy, and they hadn’t toned the heat down for foreigners. The rooms were clean and nice, with balconies. Sometimes the key cards didn’t fit properly in the sockets, so the electricity cut out, but reinserting them got it working again. The hotel is right beside Noppharat Thara Beach. For a more beautiful white-sand beach, you can take a longtail boat to Railay Beach or nearby islands. We didn’t try the hotel pool. There’s a night market nearby, along with restaurants, 711, and a money exchange.

Being close to the night market was great, so we could enjoy local food and the atmosphere without a long trip. The hotel is right by the sea, with an easy short walk to the beach for sunset strolls, and our room had a wonderful sea view to wake up to. We recently stayed at the Maneetel Krabi Beachfront and it was easily one of the best hotels in Krabi. The large, well-kept pool was a good place to relax after exploring, and breakfast had a tasty, impressive variety.

We stayed for two nights and wouldn’t recommend the hotel. There was a strong sewage smell in the bathroom, and the air-conditioning swung between hot and very cold with no comfortable middle. After sleeping, the room was covered in condensation and the floor looked as if someone had spilled water everywhere. The location is good, right beside Aonang landmark market. Breakfast was good too, and there’s a kids’ slide and a good swimming pool, though it was dirty.

The breakfast buffet was great, and the pool was nice. The location was good, and the room was made up daily with fresh towels, but I wouldn’t return. Our room was dusty and cleanliness overall was weak. There was quite a bit of mould around the shower glass, and the drain backed up quickly. There was barely anywhere for suitcases or belongings, so I rearranged the room to make space on the tiny side tables. I asked for extra hangers and staff could find only one. There was stained furniture in the lobby too. The whole place could use some TLC.
