Mini House Aonang

The only downsides for me were that the toilet in my room tended to overflow when I showered, and there’s no pool or gym if those facilities matter to you. Otherwise, I almost loved everything about this place. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony, and the beach is quite close. This is my fourth time staying at Aonang beach, and mini house is definitely one of my favorites. The location is great: 711 is very close, with local Thai food across the street and massage parlors nearby.

The receptionist was lovely and helpful, and the cleaners did an amazing job getting rid of all the sand we brought back into the room. Our bedroom was a good size, with plenty of room for suitcases and space to dry our swimsuits each day. In room 2205, I think that was the number, the shower wasn't sealed properly, so I made a mess of the bathroom every time I used it. Mini House Aonang is a beautiful, cozy, clean and quiet hotel. It’s close to 7Eleven and lots of restaurants and bars, and not far from Ao Nang beach. Highly recommended. :) I’m leaving my review here instead of on booking.com because I never got the link to leave one there. :)

The staff were helpful, and the location was good enough for me. The bedsheet cleanliness could be better. On the second night, I heard people chatting outside my room, maybe around the lobby, at about 1:50 a.m. It disturbed my sleep.

The room door isn't soundproof, with a big gap underneath, so you hear other guests coming back to the hotel. Our toilet leaked, and I heard another guest say their room had a lot of mold. We also had a little mold in the shower. At this price, I wouldn't recommend it.
