Poonsiri Varich Pool Villa Aonang

BED BUGS!!!!!!! We found bed bugs in the master bedroom just as we were going to sleep. That alone wouldn't make this my worst hotel review, but the way we were treated did. Staff didn't know what bed bugs were and suggested spraying the bed so we could go back to sleep. We clearly couldn't stay in the villa, yet they said there were no other villas available and offered no place for us to sleep that night. After hours of talking with the night staff, it was around 4am. My friend had to sleep on the floor. The only help from the staff and owner was extra blankets. In the morning the owner offered a full refund if we left as soon as possible. But we had nowhere to go, and finding a hotel for 6 people at the same price and “standard” at the last minute in high season wasn't easy. One staff member LAUGHED in my friend's face when she explained this, and only stopped when asked what was funny about us being homeless because of their fault. They then called the police and lied, saying they'd offered us another option besides staying without a refund or leaving with a full refund. The next day we saw a villa available for the rest of our stay, so either another villa could have been offered, or they put our villa with BED BUGS!!!!! back up for booking. I won't go through the other bad things we found in the one day we were there. The review can't get any lower. If you're considering booking, notice that I put quotation marks around “standard” for a reason.

Ploy was especially helpful whenever we asked her for anything, always warm and caring, and she gave us perfect assistance. Every staff member was friendly, professional and ready to help, and they made us feel welcome throughout our wonderful stay. A great team and a lovely place. We'd definitely recommend it.

We had an amazing week here. The staff were soooo kind and helpful, especially the receptionists, who helped us with everything. One of the best places we've ever stayed :)

The private pools are gorgeous, and having the impressive breakfast buffet brought right to the villa was convenient. It's a luxury villa complex. The location shown on Apple and Google Maps is wrong, making it seem like the place is in Central Ao Nang. It feels like this may be intentional, to make people think it's more central when booking. There isn't any storage in the villas, and the local mosque woke us at 5am every morning.
