SB Mansion

The pool is lovely to come back to after a day at the beach, and the location is great, near the beach but still quiet. There's a 7-Eleven next door and nice street food nearby. This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in Thailand. It’s a super nice hotel, with bunk beds for backpackers too. The staff are great, really helpful and caring. Thank you! The room was a good size and had a fridge, and the pool was nice. It's cheap, and the staff were friendly. We've stayed in plenty of hostels and dorms, and this place was OK, but the bedsheet felt wet and was so thin it was pretty rank. They could invest in better bedding and cleaning supplies.

The laundry service was excellent, and the upper floors had good views. Rooms were spacious and very clean, and the staff were friendly. The accommodation is great, with a perfect location and a nice, relaxing pool area. I'd definitely stay again. One suggestion: add sun umbrellas for the loungers, since the pool gets direct sunlight for most of the afternoon.

The top rooms have a great view. The rooms are clean and airy, and the pool area is clean too. I've seen little of the staff, but the people I did meet were good. There's sun by the pool during the day, but not at night. There are three downsides: no elevator, despite the three floors, so if you're travelling with kids, ask for a room on the bottom floor. The air conditioner in my room was extremely loud. I'm not easily disturbed while sleeping, but I had to wear earplugs. And there's no room safe, so you have to leave your valuables behind reception when you go out. Otherwise, it's a good hotel, not awesome but not bad.
