The Cliff Elegance Resort

The green surroundings gave the place a rainforest feel, and it was convenient too, around 1 km from Ao Nang Beach and 100 meters from a 7-Eleven. The pool was a highlight, especially with my kids, and the clean, comfortable rooms made for a peaceful stay. The small group of women managing this charming boutique property were caring and attentive, though quite strict about their policies. I also appreciated that they didn't ask for a security deposit, unlike many other places. Breakfast was limited but decent: one plate per person with salad, juice, watermelon, bread with jam and butter, and a few simple sandwich items. I'd suggest more breakfast choices, more flexibility with service, and phones in the rooms to make communication easier.

Stay: 8-10 December 2025 The worst part was how we were treated. From the moment we arrived, the female receptionist was rude and arrogant, with no manners, customer service skills, or respect for guests. She needs proper training, as her behavior fell below basic hospitality standards. Breakfast was the same every day, with no variety and nothing worth eating. When we asked for a single bottle of water, we were told we'd have to pay extra, even as guests. That felt cheap and unwelcoming. Housekeeping was slow and careless, and the room wasn't properly maintained. It might look okay at first, but basic cleanliness was missing. Mosquitoes were everywhere, especially in the breakfast area, which reflects badly on how the hotel is managed. Our stay was extremely disappointing. The hotel was badly managed and poorly maintained, and the staff attitude was unacceptable. I strongly don't recommend it. Save your money and choose somewhere else, this one isn't worth it.

Good rooms and a nice location 👍 👌 The Cliff Elegance Resort in Ao Nang is a peaceful choice, tucked beside the dramatic limestone cliffs Krabi is known for. It has a more intimate feel than the busy beachfront hotels, yet the main street and Ao Nang Beach are still only a 10-minute walk away. The rooms stand out for their high ceilings and spacious design in a "Chaiya Art" Thai architectural style. Family units often have two connected spaces, and the beds are consistently described as very comfortable. Private balconies look out over the garden or pool. Some rooms have open-style showers, bringing you closer to the natural surroundings. Breakfast is freshly made to order, either à la carte or American style, which means less waste and better quality than a standard buffet. The Thai dishes are a popular start to the day, and there are also continental basics like eggs, salad, and fresh fruit.

The room was spacious, and the bed was the most comfortable we've had so far on our trip. Staff were really friendly and helpful. It felt tucked away from the noise, but nightlife was still close by, and the location was great. We'll look to stay here again if we're staying in the area.
