The Cottage Aonang

Such a calm place, with a nice pool and lovely nature around it. The staff are so sweet, kind, and helpful. The room is cosy, but mosquitoes can get in easily through the windows and doors, so watch out.

We arrived three hours early, and they gave us towels and let us relax by the pool. Walking into the courtyard felt like stepping into an oasis, and the whole place was calm and serene, away from the hustle and bustle. One of our favorite stays so far in Thailand. I'd strongly recommend it, and definitely rent a scooter from Mr Sek to get to and from the beach.

The place is beautiful and the rooms are nice, but they're noisy, and the mosquitoes made staying here really unpleasant. It's far from activities.

With just five cottages, The Cottage Aonang felt cozy and private, and was a good place to unwind after all our activities in Krabi. Our cottage was spacious enough for two, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was fine, but could use a bit of maintenance. We especially loved the pool among the palm trees, it felt like a little oasis. The property is on the outskirts of Aonang Beach, so having your own transport is best. They also rent tuk-tuks and mopeds, which is handy. The lovely married couple who run the place were incredibly kind, and we got to chat with them. A bonus for us Malaysians, they speak Malay too. One evening we went to Aonang Beach for dinner and a massage, then came back for a restful night's sleep.
