Vacation Village Phra Nang Inn

The location is the hotel’s strongest point, and the breakfast room has a 10/10 setting, though the food needs work. Staff were all friendly, and the towels and bedding were top quality. The rooms, however, are very dated and need a lot of care. The photos give a misleading impression: there’s only one parasol by the pool and too few loungers for the number of guests. We stayed five nights, and expectations do matter, but the hotel felt overpriced and extremely noisy despite its great location.

We loved the Romantic Getaway package I bought last week at Vacation village, Phra Nang Inn. The bedroom decorations and flowers really impressed us, and the food was fantastic. Everything matched what was advertised. The staff were extremely polite and friendly, and they helped make our stay memorable.

The hotel staff were friendly, and the rooms seem to have been renovated since my last visit two years ago. Ao Nang’s central location makes the beach and shops just a few steps away, but street noise carries late into the night. Breakfast had few options, so I ate outside even though it was included. It was a decent stay, and I’d come back for the location.

There’s almost no privacy unless you book one of the larger rooms in the tall building, and the pool looked dirty. The rooms were worn down in this very old, cheap motel, which is in a terrible location. Loud bar music across the street kept me awake until 2 a.m., even with earplugs. I ended up cancelling the last three nights and moving elsewhere. It might suit someone who plans to party all night and stay out all day.
