Boss Hotel

The reception staff were kind about a booking mix-up and quickly got us a second room for less than the usual rate. We’d booked through Booking.com, hoping for two single rooms for two adults, but I missed that the €2 cheaper option was a double room. My mistake, and the woman at reception was very understanding. The hotel has a small gym and pool, plus everything else we needed. I’d recommend it.

Getting around was easy from here, with a bus stop right outside on Rama 4 Road and Ekamai BTS about a 10-minute walk away. There are lots of local food stalls and a 7-11 nearby too. The rooms were clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming. A very good hotel, highly recommended.

The daily market is only about 100 meters away, with great food at local prices, and the nearby 7-Eleven somehow seems to know what you want. BTS is a seven-minute walk, handy since it’s the main way to get around Bangkok. I’ve stayed in several hotels around here, and this one is my sweet spot. After this year’s refurbishment, it feels even better value, especially if you can get a room for about 1,000 THB. Ask for a high floor at the back, since the front can be noisy. I’ve stayed on both sides, and every room I’ve had came with a huge, relaxing balcony overlooking the city, with room for a table and four chairs. Inside, the rooms are spacious, with big new TVs and air conditioning that keeps the temperature just right. Big thanks to all the staff, especially Khanitha for helping me find my dream room.

We only spent one night in a Signature Studio at Boss Mansion Hotel and found it very comfortable and clean. The room had recently been renovated, so it felt almost new, and there was loads of space for a hotel in this price range. We especially liked the cozy couch area. We didn't try the food during our short stay. They asked for a 1000 baht deposit at check-in, which seemed standard for hotels in Thailand and didn't bother us.
