I wouldn’t recommend this scooter rental. They ask to hold your passport as a deposit, then try to get money from you when you return the scooter. The staff seem friendly at first, but if there’s a problem they start shouting and, using your passport as leverage, try to cheat you out of money. Very unpleasant and dishonest experience. Tourists, beware. Avoid this place.

Very disappointed, even for just one night. The staff weren’t friendly at all. The room was dirty, the shower head was broken, and the owner didn’t take care of it. I’d recommend another hotel if you’re visiting aonang. Don’t book here :(

The bathroom water had an unpleasant smell, and the cleaning lady was very rude. I'd recommend finding another place to stay.

We were surprised by how spacious and clean the room was, and the balcony had a lovely mountain view. The owners were kind and quick to sort out a small toilet water pressure problem. They also rent motorbikes and offer laundry service. There are a couple of adorable cats in the building, including one that likes cuddles and meows for attention. The beach is a bit of a walk, about 30 minutes, but plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops and a 7/11 are nearby.

The room felt smaller than others we stayed in during our Thailand trip, but I had no other complaints. The owner rents scooters at a very reasonable price, and that was my first rental in Thailand. A 7/11 and burger place are right next door, while Ao Nang Beach and the busy area take about five minutes to reach by scooter. There was a balcony with a view too. We had a blast here.
